Expert witness reports

expert

noun

a person with a high level of knowledge or skill relating to a particular subject or activity.

Disputes relating to property that cannot be easily resolved may result in legal proceedings.

At GT Louis we examine the issue and prepare a detailed report advising our professional opinion on the matter with supporting evidence as required.

The majority of disputes we become involved in are resolved without having to resort to Court proceedings. However, we do appear in Court if required. We act for individual parties (party appointed expert) or for both parties if required (single joint expert). In both cases, the expert’s overriding duty is to assist the Court.

We provide expert advice and the required evidence to help resolve your dispute and reach an amicable agreement efficiently. In the process, we’ll potentially prevent the need to go to court, protect you against false claims and minimise legal fees, the level of which can which can sometimes end up “driving” the claim.

We can provide expert evidence on matters including:

  • Party walls and boundaries
  • Building surveys
  • Housing disrepair
  • Landlord and Tenant disputes
  • Dilapidations
